2. What information we collect
Information you give us directly:
- Name and email address when you register for a workshop, join our community, or subscribe to our newsletter
- Mobile phone number if you opt in to SMS communications
- Payment information when you purchase a membership or product (processed by our payment provider — we do not store card numbers)
- Messages, questions, or content you submit through forms, community posts, or coaching sessions
Information collected automatically:
- Pages visited, time on site, and referring URLs (via analytics tools including Google Analytics)
- Device type, browser, and operating system
- IP address and general location (city/country level)
- Email open and click activity
Information we do not collect:
- We do not collect sensitive personal data such as Social Security numbers, government IDs, or health information

Legal basis for processing (for applicable jurisdictions): We process your personal information based on (a) performance of a contract — to deliver services you've purchased or registered for; (b) your consent — for marketing communications, SMS, and testimonials; (c) our legitimate interests — to improve our services, communicate with our community, and protect against fraud; and (d) legal obligations where applicable.
4. Email and SMS communications
Email: When you register for a workshop or join our community, you will receive transactional emails related to your registration and, with your consent, marketing emails about Cerium Cyber products and educational content. You may unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any email. Transactional emails (such as workshop confirmations and receipts) are sent regardless of marketing preferences.
SMS: If you provide your mobile phone number and opt in to SMS communications, you may receive text messages from Cerium Cyber regarding your account, upcoming sessions, or offers. Message and data rates may apply. To opt out of SMS messages at any time, reply STOP to any message you receive from us. For help, reply HELP. Opting out of SMS does not affect your email subscription.
5. How we share your information
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only in these limited circumstances:
Service providers: We use the following third-party tools to operate our business, and they may access your information only to perform services on our behalf under confidentiality obligations:
- GoHighLevel — CRM, email delivery, community platform, and automation
- Stripe — payment processing
- Google Analytics — website traffic analysis
- Anthropic (Claude) — AI-assisted content creation and coaching tools
- Revven — AI tools used within our coaching operations
We may add or change service providers from time to time; this list will be updated accordingly.
Legal requirements: We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or to protect the rights and safety of Cerium Cyber or others.
Business transfers: If Cerium Cyber is acquired or merges with another company, your information may transfer as part of that transaction.
6. AI tool usage
Cerium Cyber uses AI-powered tools — including Anthropic's Claude and Revven — to support content creation, coaching preparation, and operational tasks. We do not submit your personal identifying information to AI systems for processing without anonymizing or aggregating it first. AI tools are not used to make automated decisions that have legal or significant effects on you.
7. Community content and ownership
When you post content in CyberFortress or Iron Dome — including questions, comments, and responses — that content is visible to other community members. You retain ownership of content you create, but by posting you grant Cerium Cyber a non-exclusive license to display that content within the community platform. We will not use your community posts in external marketing materials without your separate consent.
8. Data retention
We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. If you request deletion of your account, we will remove your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law or legitimate business purposes (such as financial records).
9. Data breach notification
In the event of a data breach that affects your personal information, we will notify you as required by applicable law. Notification will be sent to the email address on file for your account. We will also take reasonable steps to contain and remediate any breach.
10. Your rights and choices
You have the right to:

- Correct inaccurate information
- Delete your personal information (subject to legal retention requirements)
- Opt out of marketing communications at any time
- Request a copy of your data in a portable format

11. State-specific privacy rights
California (CCPA/CPRA): California residents have the right to know what personal information we collect and how it is used, to request deletion of personal information, to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information (we do not sell personal information), and to non-discrimination for exercising these rights. Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, and Utah: Residents of these states have rights to access, correct, delete, and obtain a copy of their personal data, and to opt out of certain processing activities, consistent with their respective state privacy laws. We will respond to verified requests within the timeframes required by applicable law, typically 45 days with the option to extend by an additional 45 days when reasonably necessary.
12. International users
Our services are intended for users in the United States. If you access our services from outside the United States, please be aware that your information will be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those in your country. By using our services, you consent to this transfer.
